Therapy through Color

Betty- she only had one arm to color with. She gets the patients and hard work award.She worked hard to complete this picture.

while she colored.

Gerry Bash-he really enjoyed the coloring –
He colored two pictures.

Reed Alexander

Gertrude Johnson-she’s 95 and
done with working.

Alberta Elias-look how she filled in from
left to right with more color. She got a
first time award design.

Mary Ann – look how she took the time to outline the area she for this colored. She got a first time award for this.

L Harvey – what a beautiful color combination.

Gerry – He only had the use of his right hand, had difficulty holding the paper down but did well after it was taped down.

Phil – interesting pictures within the blocks.

Betty – vivid colors

Bob-He had Parkinson’s –he did this with much difficulty but wanted to participate.

Sara-Pretty in pink.

Sylvia – she wasn’t very pleased with her work.

Louise-she couldn’t see very well – that’s what she claimed. She did pretty well.

Vilma-it took her some time to complete.
She worked hard on this.

Emily-she did this with her non- dominant hand. I think she did a nice job.

She spends much of her time coloring. She has Alzhemiers but she is very happy and calm.

Mary-she gets the first time award for c
oloring in the space between the balloons.
She colored this space first.
Her friends call her the artist.

Anna-she said that she was too “shakey”
to do a good job. What do you think?

Hazel- “This was a very nice thing to do. I imagine if I took crayons by myself, I could do this.”

Lizzy – she is the activity assistant who wanted to get in on the action.

Ida Mae

Irene-she wanted to finish it-it took her 1 ½ hours but she finished it in fine fashion.

Marion – she gets the first time award for her blended colors.

Adeline-she’s 96 –completed with staff assistance. She told them where to put what color. She will dance but only with the right music.
